Actually there is this thing called stide efficiency and if you run slower than your stride efficiency you are actually making your run more difficult and harder on your joints. Usually you don’t want to slow down past a 10 maybe 11 min. If you find yourself struggling start with walking running interveles at small distances and work your way up to running small distances. Then increase your speed as you go. I have full plans for all of these on my page. Go look or come ask me.
